A gut renovation to convert a former dance studio and daycare into a spacious 2 bedroom 2 bathroom residence in the heart of Tribeca. The design goals were to create private and public spaces, provide functional storage solutions, and maintain a modern loft aesthetic. Despite the building's shading and elongated shape, the design maximized natural light, created contrasting spaces using millwork and glass partitions, and retained the loft's artistic elements to produce a lively and functional home perfect for hosting family and friends.
